But... the CROWN encourages love. The crown is a constant reminder of Christ's two roles; the suffering servant and the conquering Messiah-King. While the intention of suffering and mockery that came with the crown of thorns is long gone, today it is a symbol of who Jesus is and what He came to accomplish. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, becoming the curse for us. Because of God's love for us.
Living FOR THE CROWN is making a statement that you choose to be like Christ in a selfish world.
